I need some sleep.
For those who don’t know, I am a die-hard Yankees fan, which means that I have been staying up pretty much every night since this past Saturday. Now, for a guy who likes to base his whole day off his recovery score on Whoop, this is not a good thing. I prefer to get 8 hours of sleep, wake up early, and stay healthy, but I also enjoy watching the Yankees. So, I am struggling to find that balance this month. Ultimately, the Yankees have my priority these next couple of weeks, and I will find time to get my sleep in check. But for now, Go Yankees.
Let’s get into this week’s Four For Friday.

BUSINESS STRATEGY
How to Be Organized

Productivity doesn’t happen by accident. Being organized is about setting up systems that keep you on track. Start by decluttering your space and setting clear priorities. The real magic happens when you break big tasks into smaller steps and focus on one thing at a time. You can’t build anything worthwhile in chaos—control your environment, and you’ll control your output.
Actionable Tip:
Every night, take 10 minutes to plan your top three priorities for the next day. Keep it simple, and execute them in order. Momentum builds from small wins. I use this to-do list notepad to do this. A productive day starts the night before.
HEALTH INSIGHT
Get Addicted to the Right Things

Signing up for a race or event forces you to focus on all the right habits. Training, eating right, sleeping better—it all falls into place when you’ve got a goal on the calendar. Not only does this motivate you to stick to your routines, but it also gives you that extra push on the days you want to slack off. If you’ve been feeling stuck, signing up for something can reignite that fire. And it doesn't need to be a long race; you can do a 5k. You can even walk it if you want to. Having it scheduled will motivate you to do your best. Start small and then work towards bigger goals.
Actionable Tip:
Find an event that challenges you and sign up. Once you commit, your training, diet, and lifestyle will naturally align with that goal.
PERSONAL GROWTH
Keep Saying Yes

Opportunities don’t fall into your lap—you’ve got to create them. Saying yes to meetings, coffee catch-ups, and new experiences is how you grow both personally and professionally. Accountability is built by showing up and following through. People respect those who keep their word, and it opens doors for future collaborations and partnerships. Networking isn’t just about shaking hands—it’s about building trust!
Actionable Tip:
The next time you’re asked to meet or collaborate, say yes—even if you’re busy. Follow up with a quick email afterward to keep the connection strong.
BONUS INSIGHT
Gray Scale Your Phone and Get Shit Done

Your phone is your biggest distraction. Turning on grayscale mode makes it boring to use, so you’ll naturally spend less time mindlessly scrolling. It’s a simple hack I picked up from Sahil Bloom, and it works wonders on days when you need to be locked in. When your phone is just a tool and not a dopamine factory, you’ll be amazed at how much you can actually accomplish.
Actionable Tip:
Try grayscale mode for a day—go to settings > accessibility > display & text size > color filters.
