Shout out to Switchyards in Oakhurst.
I’m sure some of my readers have used a co-working space before. I started attending one recently—shoutout to Addy for getting me a membership—and it’s amazing what working in a place like this can do for your productivity. Here are a few reasons why this space is great: when you work alongside others who are there to focus, you immediately put yourself in an environment that fosters productivity. The energy is contagious, and I find myself powering through my work while genuinely looking forward to going there every day. Their coffee machine and free stroopwafels are also a major plus. I know some co-working spaces can be expensive, but if you're remote and looking for a quick change of scenery, I highly recommend trying one out near you.
Let’s get into this week’s Four For Friday.

BUSINESS STRATEGY
Prioritize the 80/20 Rule

Let’s talk about the 80/20 Rule (Pareto Principle). This simple strategy reminds us that 80% of results come from 20% of your efforts. The key is to focus on the tasks that bring the most impact and cut out the noise. If you’re running a business or even just working through your day-to-day tasks, this principle will help you identify what actually moves the needle.
Actionable Tip:
Take 10 minutes today to review your to-do list. Find the top 20% of tasks that will drive 80% of your success, and focus on those first.
HEALTH INSIGHT
The Kellogg’s Petition – A Win for Our Health

Recently, Kellogg’s has come under fire as consumer groups push for the removal of artificial dyes from their products, citing studies linking these chemicals to hyperactivity and behavioral issues in children. The petition is part of a larger movement toward cleaner, healthier food. While Europe has banned many of these dyes, U.S. companies continue to use them. This is a wake-up call for all of us to be more mindful about what’s in the foods we eat.
Actionable Tip:
Take a closer look at the ingredients in your favorite foods. Avoid artificial dyes and opt for products with natural alternatives.
PERSONAL GROWTH
Find a Mentor

Finding a mentor can be one of the most powerful moves for your personal and professional growth. A good mentor not only offers guidance and advice, but also shares the experiences that you won’t find in any textbook. It’s about learning from someone who’s been where you want to go. Mentors push you, keep you accountable, and often help you see things you would have missed on your own.
Actionable Tip:
Identify someone you admire in your field. Reach out with a simple message explaining why you value their work and ask for a short meeting or coffee. Most people are happy to help.
BONUS INSIGHT
Multiple Streams of Income is the New Flex

Gone are the days when relying on just one job or paycheck was the norm. Having multiple streams of income isn’t just smart, it’s the new flex. Whether it's through investments, side gigs, or passive income streams, diversifying how you earn money gives you more security and freedom. It’s about having options and making sure you’re covered if one stream dries up.
Actionable Tip:
Start by exploring a side hustle or investment opportunity that aligns with your skills or interests. Even a small start can build into something much bigger over time.
